Aim: This training course is designed to equip young female specialists and students with the essential skills required for future energy jobs. It also aims to inspire them to pursue careers in this field and promote this change among their colleagues and networks.

Participants: Approximately 100 young female professionals and students specializing in renewable energy, energy, ecology, environment, and sustainable development from Central Asian countries (including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), Afghanistan, and Mongolia participated in the training.

Training Program: The five-day training program covered a range of topics pertinent to renewable energy, energy transition, and energy efficiency in Central Asia. The lectures delved into solar, wind, and hydro energy, alternative fuels, efficient heating and cooling technologies, as well as the economic, financial, and gender aspects of integrating renewable energy. The goal was to offer participants a comprehensive understanding of renewable energy technologies and their potential applications in the Central Asian context.

In addition to lectures, participants had the opportunity to engage in practical activities and site visits.
