Our graduates

In Central Asia, water is a vital resource that is becoming increasingly scarce and polluted every day. In order to overcome this problem, it is important to strengthen cooperation and exchange of experiences among those involved in decision-making in integrated water resources management.

In this regard, it becomes really important to strengthen the youth cooperation of graduates of the IWRM magistracy program.

Our graduates established contacts in their countries with national youth movements focused on work in the field of water resources and the environment, including partner universities of the Kazakh-German University and regional structures.

Our Institute holds systematic meetings of graduates, for example, in 2019 more than 50 graduates from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and partner organizations took part.

Since its inception in 2011, the IWRM master's program has trained about 60 young specialists from Central Asia and Afghanistan. After graduation, our graduates return to their homeland, so the meeting of graduates is an excellent opportunity to restore contacts between graduates, current students and the university. It is also a good opportunity to share valuable experiences with your colleagues.
