The training for civil servants of the Republic of Tajikistan was conducted by the Kazakh-German University with the support of the USAID Regional Water and Environment Project.
The training was attended by 28 people representing: 19 representatives from the State bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan (67.8% of all participants), 9 representatives from universities and research institutes (32.2%).
The training program was slightly altered taking into account the study of the experience of conducting the training in Kazakhstan, the presentation of the theoretical part of the training in Tajikistan was significantly changed with a description of real situations on the application of the nexus approach. The two-day training included theoretical and practical blocks. As part of the practical block, group work was carried out on Focus Study No. 1 “Description of the situation in the water, food, energy sectors and ecosystems of the conditional macroregion of the Saltlake-Kopsu Basin”
An innovation in the program was the use of an interactive method of cross-questioning of participants in order to include everyone in the process of discussing real situations and legislative acts. The organizers of the training also used the "icebreaker" method in the process of getting to know the participants, where on a game basis, each participant adapted to the iridescent environment.
At the end of the training, all participants were presented with certificates.
