Student Olympiad 2024 "Sustainable Development Goals in Central Asia, Afghanistan and Mongolia"
The national stage of the Student Olympiad was held separately in all countries of Central Asia, Afghanistan and Mongolia by partner universities of the Kazakh-German University (DKU). The format was hybrid (offline and online).
The national stage of the Student Olympiad on SDGs was divided into two rounds - written testing on issues related to SDGs and Ecothon. Based on the results of the first round, the selected participants within the Ecothon had to, in the allotted time, write a description of the idea of an environmental (social) project/solution for one of the SDGs, which should be sustainable and feasible at the university level, and then present it to the jury members. Based on the results of the national stage, students with the highest scores advanced to the finals - a total of 25 people from 7 countries participating in the National stages of the student olympiad.
