Project objective

Creation and operationalization of regional knowledge sharing practices through a series of regular thematic webinars on the risks of instability caused by climate change

Project objectives

  1. Assessment of national and regional platforms for the exchange of information and knowledge on climate risks and sustainability
  2. Preparation of an overview of existing gaps in the field of analytics, scientific research and preparation of recommendations for their elimination
  3. Studying the experience of using international climate information platforms
  4. Conducting 6 regional virtual practical webinars for all stakeholders and women practitioners
  5. Preparation of national policy briefings on disaster risk reduction, water resources, energy and agriculture
  6. Development of an action plan on regional practices for the exchange of information and knowledge on climate risks and sustainability

Beneficiaries

Representatives of scientific and academic institutions, representatives of national hydro meteorological services, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, independent experts, young scientists

Expected/actual project results

Raising awareness of the risks associated with climate instability among stakeholders at the local, national and regional levels
