The Summer School is designed for young professionals and students who have a keen interest in utilizing geoscientific tools for the management of Integrated Water and Land Resources. The program aims to provide practical knowledge that can be applied in policymaking. This opportunity is available to participants who reside in the Central Asian countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Additionally, Afghan students living in Kazakhstan also were eligible to participate in the program.
The Summer School has brought forth advanced techniques and tools for analyzing and monitoring the water and land resources in Central Asia. These methods hold immense significance within the context of managing integrated water and land resources.
CAWa Green Summer School in 2022 was held under the topic "Linking scientific knowledge of water and land resources management into decision-making support in Central Asia".
