August 21-27, 2023, marked a significant time for participants from four Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan) gathered within the framework of the Renewable Energy Trip 2023 expedition.

August 21-27, 2023, marked a significant time for participants from four Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan) gathered within the framework of the Renewable Energy Trip 2023 expedition.

The sixth anniversary year of this educational trip underscored its importance for students and young specialists in the field of renewable energy.

The Journey Begins: Almaty, Kazakhstan

The first day, August 21, opened with a seminar on the topic of energy transition in Central Asia. Tours to the Kapshagay Hydroelectric and Solar Power Plants allowed participants to explore the technical and managerial aspects of the operation of these key energy facilities.

Expedition Route: From Site to Site

Continuing the journey, participants visited the Zhakutov Thermal Power Plant-2, "Burnoye Solar - 1,2", "Nura", and "Saran" Solar Power Plants, as well as the first wind power plant in Yereymentau and "Astana EXPO-2017" Wind Power Plant. Here, renewable energy researchers were able to immerse themselves in the processes and innovations underlying modern energy.

Completion in Astana: Inspiration and Encouragement

In Astana, by visiting the "Flower of the Almighty" mosque with zero energy consumption and the Future Energy Museum "Nur Alem", participants gained understanding and inspiration from the boundless possibilities of the world of renewable energy.

Interaction and Collaboration

The project provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and the establishment of long-term contacts, contributing to the development of renewable energy in Central Asia.
