Background of the project: While there is quite a lot of experience and knowledge in the region on climate change, adaptation, mitigation and security, there are still gaps in analyzing climate change, assessing impacts on economic sectors to make science-based decisions on climate change adaptation.
Purpose of the meeting: Presentation of the results of five thematic webinars through the lens of the NEXUS approach.
The webinar will be devoted to summarizing the results of earlier webinars and national reviews of climate change impacts on energy, water, agriculture and emergency sectors, recommended measures for national policies to increase resilience to climate change. The webinar will also provide information on the experience of NEXUS approach for the Central Asian region.
Webinar participants: Representatives of scientific and academic institutions, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, independent experts, young scientists and other interested persons.
